JetBlue Launches Boston-Amsterdam Service With Fare Sale

JetBlue has expanded its Amsterdam service with new nonstop flights between Boston Logan International Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The service, which started on September 20, follows the airline’s JFK-Amsterdam route that began last month. JetBlue also offers daily service to London from Boston and will launch service to Paris next year.

“Our recently launched Amsterdam service from New York has already been very successful and we are thrilled to expand our low fares and great service to Amsterdam to our Boston customers,” said Dave Clark, head of revenue and planning, JetBlue. “Adding nonstop service to Amsterdam benefits business and leisure customers who have suffered from high fares by legacy carriers for decades and brings more options to our customers in our New England focus city.”

Flights will operate daily on JetBlue’s Airbus A321 Long Range aircraft with 24 redesigned Mint Suite seats, 114 core seats, and the sleek and spacious Airspace cabin interior.

To celebrate the new service, seats are on sale, with fares for U.S.-originating travelers starting at $499 roundtrip for the airline’s standard experience and starting at $2,199 for the premium Mint experience. Netherlands-originating travelers can enjoy special introductory roundtrip fares starting at €399 ($433) for standard and €1,599 ($1712) for Mint.

Located only 10 miles from Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport is one of Europe’s largest and most important airports, serving more than 71 million passengers annually.
