Marriott Bonvoy Becomes First, Largest Hospitality Company to Launch in the Fortnite Universe

Marriott Bonvoy is making waves in the gaming world by becoming the first and largest hospitality company to launch in the Fortnite universe.

On Wednesday, the hotel giant debuted Marriott Bonvoy Land, a virtual park leading to four hotel-themed mini-games representing four different Marriott Bonvoy branded hotels, including Moxy Hotels, Westin Hotels & Resorts, W Hotels & Resorts and Autograph Collection Hotels.  

At the Moxy, challenges can enjoy a playful prop hunt. One player transforms into items such as flamingos or bananas while the other tries to expose their disguise. Meanwhile, at the Westin, gamers will race across yoga mats in the hotel’s indoor pool, pass through the WestinWORKOUT fitness studio and onto an indoor living wall while being cheered on by the Westin Run Concierges.

The W Hotel mini-game will see players seek out a code to unlock a captivating labyrinth. Players will hope to follow the music and find their way to a DJ performance on the WET rooftop deck.

Finally, at Autograph Collection’s hotel, players can explore a series of rooms inspired by different destinations. They'll search for unique items echoing the brand’s Exactly Like Nothing Else mantra.

Players who complete all of the games will be rewarded with a fireworks display set against the park’s skyline, Marriott said.

Marriott is celebrating this fall's launch with a special livestream event featuring Twitch streamer Sommerset and a surprise celebrity guest on November 2. In addition to playing Marriott Bonvoy Land, they'll chat bucket list travel dreams and give away Marriott Bonvoy stays to lucky gamers.
