PS, the private luxury terminal service for passengers flying commercial flights, is coming to the Miami International Airport (MIA).

The company, known for creating ultra-premium terminals, is expected to open its Miami location in 2025. It will be housed in the historic Pan-Am headquarters at MIA.

The terminal will offer members and guests an “elevated lounge experience, The Salon, and Private Suites equipped with a private balcony, or a landscaped courtyard,” according to a statement issued by the airport today.

But that’s not all. When boarding time arrives, lounge members and guests will be brought through on-site TSA screening before being driven to their commercial flights at MIA’s various concourses to board their flight directly from the tarmac via jet bridge stairs.

Passengers arriving on flights at Miami International Airport will also be to access the full luxury terminal experience — but in reverse. Meaning arriving passengers will be picked up on the tarmac and ushered to the lounge for airport departure.

“We look forward to welcoming PS MIA and seeing the transformation of this historic building,” Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, said in a social media post. “MIA is a world-class airport, so what better location to offer these wonderful world-class services than Pan Am’s former Miami headquarters, the epicenter of the aviation industry’s golden age."

PS MIA will be constructed by a team of architects, interior designers, and contractors experienced in historic preservation. The team will be focused on creating an adaptive, effective, modern space in accordance with the Miami-Dade County Historic Preservation Ordinance and the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for the Restoration and Rehabilitation of Historic Structures.

The PS brand also recently announced new locations opening in Atlanta (ATL) this summer and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) in spring 2024. The brand’s first terminal is located in Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
