Orlando Announces 90 Days of Haunted Halloween Celebrations

Visit Orlando has unveiled a full lineup of frightful and family-friendly Halloween experiences. Visitors can enjoy 90 days of hair-raising events, horror movie brunches, paranormal-themed escape rooms, haunted botanical gardens, kid-friendly trick-or-treat trails, and an adults-only vampire bar.

Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando said in a statement “Orlando lives up to its reputation as the Halloween Vacation Capital with nearly three months of festive celebrations for all ages. Halloween fanatics, horror movie enthusiasts and costume-loving families can enjoy the multitude of special events across our theme parks, attractions and beyond.”

Spooky Theme Park Events

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World Resort (select nights through November 1) at the Magic Kingdom Park. The event features eerie entertainment including the “Hocus Pocus” Villain Spelltacular! at Cinderella Castle, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, Disney Junior Jam, Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Trick-or-Treat Trail, costumed characters, and more than 20 Halloween-inspired attractions.

Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida (September 1 – November 4) returns with 10 new haunted houses featuring “The Exorcist: Believer,” “Stranger Things 4” and “The Last of Us,” and five scare zones.

SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween-themed events include Howl-O-Scream (select nights September 8 - October 31), with haunted houses, scare zones, thrilling nighttime coaster rides, and an electrifying show. SeaWorld Spooktacular (weekends September 16 - October 29) is a family-friendly event included with regular theme park admission.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s Brick or Treat Presents Monster Party (weekends, September 16 – October 29), included with theme park admission, features a trick or treat trail, live entertainment, exclusive LEGO characters, and a cinematic experience.

Family-Friendly Scares Beyond the Theme Parks

Screamin' Green Hauntoween – Crayola Experience (September 24 – October 31) offers spooky happenings with admission including a themed scavenger hunt, spook-tastic crafts, character photo ops and trick-or-treating.

Gatorland‘s “Gators, Ghosts and Goblins (weekends, October 14–29) is an all-ages daytime event featuring a new haunt zone, characters, animal meet-and-greets, candy giveaways, and a children’s Halloween costume parade.

Pirates Dinner Adventure (September 19 – October 31) showcases “Vampirates: When the Blood Moon Rises,” a Halloween-themed dinner show where guests embark on a journey with aerial artistry, swordplay, death-defying stunts and dynamic duels.

Happy Frights at Harry P. Leu Gardens (September 29 – October 31) is a 12-immersive world trick-or-treat adventure. Guests meet a dancing bridge-troll, explore a neon-light maze, giant hay-pyramid, and celebrate Dia de Muertos.

Halloween Oktoberfest (October 28) is a combination of the well-renowned German autumn festival and a Halloween celebration with authentic German food, a Biergarten, live music, and a kids play area.

Lake Nona Graveyard Smash event (October 28) invites mortals to party with ghosts and ghouls, trick-or-treat, and journey through inflatable courses. The free event is open to the public.

Gaylord Palms Resort’s Goblins & Giggles weekends (September 9 – October 29) features a spooky scavenger hunt, live shows, dance and costume parties, a haunted escape room, and more.

A “Fall Into Family Fun” vacation package includes an overnight stay with premium views, $50 nightly resort credit, a scavenger hunt booklet and Halloween-themed crafts in the Adventure Kids’ Clubhouse.

Adults-Only Entertainment

The Bureau features Possession at Haddon Heights, a paranormal themed escape room forcing guests to confront an evil entity at an abandoned school.

Renaissance Theatre Company presents “Nosferatu" (September 15-November 5). The 90-minute horror experience evolves as 32 vampires lead guests into hidden corners of the building with engaging scenarios. Elevated Vampire-nightclub “V-Bar” has a separate admission.

Harry P. Leu Gardens Haunting Nights (September 29 – October 31), features thrilling surprises for guests 13 and older. The event’s jump scares provide a heightened level of thrill.

Teatro Martini’s Vegas-inspired adult dinner show offers Halloween Revue (September 29 – October 31) with lyrical pole dancers, comedians, magicians, jugglers and themed cocktails.

Scream n' Stream Drive-Thru Halloween Experience, Friday through Sunday (October 6 – 29) features seven horrifying drive-thru zones with monsters, music, lighting and special effects.

Cocktails & Screams’ Halloween-themed bar offers live music and creative cocktails. The Cereal Killer Brunch is among other themed events while the HallowEMO Night event showcases local bands.

Phantasmagoria XIV: “Tales of the Undead” (October 26-28) brings vampires, ghastly revenants, and banshees to life at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Guests experience tales of the Victorian Horror Troupe “PHANTASMAGORIA” and the haunting stories of Edgar Allen Poe, H.G. Wells and Penny Dreadfuls.

The Halloween Pub Crawl (October 27) returns with killer-drink specials and an invitation to show off your best costumes. Patrons will have access to all participating venues, four complimentary drinks, and more.
