The Pogues of Outer Banks aren't splitting up just yet.

Madelyn Cline—who stars as Sarah Cameron on the hit Netflix show—seemingly confirmed that fan-favorite couple Kiara (played by Madison Bailey) and JJ (Rudy Pankow) will still be together when season four debuts Oct. 10.

The Knives Out actress appeared to spill the beans in an exclusive interview with E! News' Francesca Amiker after Madison didn't echo her claim that JJ was the main person responsible for squandering all of their El Dorado treasure—which the Pogues discovered in the season three finale—at the start of the forthcoming installment.

After Madison joked that Kiara would refuse to point a finger at JJ and would instead say, "'I don't know how it happened,'" Madelyn replied, "Yeah, your boyfriend."

Nodding in agreement, Madison quipped, "Kiara's like, 'Let's change the subject.'"

And while the relationship between JJ and Kiara, which blossomed in season three, will seemingly remain intact for season four, Madison noted that other pairings on the show stand to be shaken up.

"Characters that don't always have scenes together, have scenes together," she told E!. "We have big moments with different pairings than you're used to seeing."

Of course, fans have been waiting a long time to watch JJ and Kiara's love story unfold on screen. In fact, Rudy has previously gotten candid about how the cult following around the fictional couple has taken a toll on his personal life.

Back in 2021, he defended his girlfriend of three years Elaine Siemek from online trolls who were disappointed that he wasn't dating Madison in real life, writing on Instagram, "To those who are creating such displeasure and opinions about the one I love and my relationship, it’s time to stop."

And since then, he's reflected on how he learned to let go of that criticism. As he put it to Cosmopolitan in an interview published Oct. 1, "I think a lot of people can intertwine a narrative and what they want to believe. And they take it out on someone that doesn’t deserve it."

"That’s unfortunate and it’s hard," Rudy continued. "And what’s even more unfortunate is that it’s not in my control. That’s why I spoke up—no one should go through something like that."

As for Madison? The 25-year-old—who has been dating Mariah Linney since 2020—is all for the TV romance as long as fans understand that it's not real.

"Madison and Kiara, and Rudy and JJ, are two different people," she told Entertainment Tonight in 2020. "Let's keep the ships on the show. But as far as the show, I'm all for it."

She added, "I love working with Rudy."
