Princess Cruises Charts a New Course With Low Early-Bird Pricing Model

Princess Cruises has just announced that it is significantly altering its pricing strategy, which will ensure that early-bird bookers enjoy the best possible deals on its at-sea vacation products.

This fresh approach represents a considerable shift from the traditional cruise industry model that tends to offer discounted fares for those booking closer to departure dates. Voyages that set sail in 2024 and 2025 are now listed at rock-bottom prices, rates which will only increase moving forward.

"A Princess cruise vacation is the best value in travel, but with continuing increases in consumer demand our new pricing approach will always reward guests who lock in their Princess vacations well in advance," said Terry Thorton, chief commercial officer, Princess Cruises. "Gone are the days of last-minute deep discounts close to departure dates. The best time to secure a spot on a 2024 or 2025 Princess cruise is right now."

Emphasizing its commitment to offering the industry’s most competitive pricing, Princess is also initiating its ‘Best Price Guarantee’. So strong is its certainty that the new pricing structure offers the very best value available, the company now promises to match any lower rate found for the same cruise and stateroom category.

What’s more, for guests who might be uncertain about their departure date, Princess Promotions offers them the opportunity to secure today's lowest pricing for a future cruise vacation without committing to a specific itinerary or departure date.

But, the good news doesn't end there. The brand has also started providing lower prices for third and fourth guests sharing a stateroom, offering even more value for families and friends looking to travel together.

For instance, on a seven-day Western Caribbean itinerary, departing March 17 from Galveston aboard Regal Princess, four guests could sail together for as little as $600 on average per person. That translates to a cost of just $86 per person, per day, for an incredible cruise vacation that encompasses everything from spacious accommodations and personalized MedallionClass service to delicious meals, drinks and desserts, world-class onboard entertainment, and memorable visits to some of the Caribbean’s best destinations.

Princess Cruises has long been a beacon of excellence and sophistication in the cruise sector, and this new pricing paradigm further illustrates the iconic brand’s unwavering dedication to delivering unparalleled value and exceptional experiences for its guests.
