Princess Cruises Releases 2024-25 South America & Antarctica Cruises for Sale

Princess Cruises released its South America and Antarctica itineraries for 2024-25 for sale this week, featuring four different sailings to Antarctica and visits to fourteen different countries in the region. 

The Sapphire Princess and Majestic Princess will sail the South America and Antarctica voyages. 

Travelers who book a South America or Antarctica voyage before August 25, 2023 will receive up to $2,300 in onboard spending money and shore excursion credits. 

Antarctica Sailings

Four Antarctica voyages sail roundtrip from Buenos Aires onboard the Sapphire Princess. Departure dates are December 1 and December 18, 2024 and January 4 and January 20, 2025. All itineraries are 17 days long and include visits to Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, Cape Horn, Elephant Island, Deception Island, South Shetland Islands, Falkland Islands and Montevideo. 

Additionally, the Sapphire Princess is offering one Antarctica & Brazilian Grand Adventure. Departing November 13, 2024, the 35-day itinerary sails from Ft. Lauderdale and visits St. Kitts, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia and destinations within Antarctica before ending back in Buenos Aires. 

South America Sailings

Travelers wanting to sail around the storied Cape Horn and across the Strait of Magellan can enjoy four different departures, one on the Majestic Princess and three on the Sapphire Princess. Destinations include Santiago, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, Falkland Islands, Puerto Madryn, Montevideo and more. Travelers either begin or end in Santiago or Buenos Aires, depending on the chosen itinerary. 

The Andes & South America itinerary is offering two different voyages. The ships offer slightly different itineraries, but the 18-day voyage offers visits to Los Angeles, Puerto Vallarta, Lina, La Serena, Santiago and more. 

The 18-day Brazilian Adventure also has two departures, either beginning or ending in Ft. Lauderdale or Buenos Aires, visiting St. Kitts, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro and Montevideo. 

Grand Adventures in South America

Additionally, there are four Grand Adventures, offering 32-51-day extended itineraries spending more time experiencing South America. 

The South America Grand Adventure is the 51-day itinerary departing December 1, 2024. Sailing on the Majestic Princess, travelers will depart from Los Angeles and sailing to Puerto Vallarta, Fuerte Amador, Lima, Pisco, La Serena, Santiago, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, Falkland Islands, Puerto Madryn, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Dominica, St. Kitts and ending in Ft. Lauderdale.
