See Travis Kelce Make His Acting Debut in Terrifying Grotesquerie Teaser
There's no doubt fear crept into Travis Kelce's mind with this one.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is giving fans a peek at his abilities off the football field in the first teaser trailer for Ryan Murphy's new horror series Grotesquerie.
In the trailer released Aug. 15, Travis' costar Niecy Nash-Betts can be seen walking through a creepy looking small town that appears to be filled with a slew of activities including a nun riding a bike, a revival meeting, crows flying around, dead bodies and so much more.
The show—which also stars Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville—sees Niecy's character Detective Lois Tyron investigates a series of heinous crimes that have unsettled a small community, according to Deadline.
She feels the crimes feel personal, almost as if someone or something is trying to taunt her. She soon teams up with a nun, played by Micaela Diamond, and the two begin to string together clues but are faced with more questions than answers.
While Travis' role is being kept under wraps, the 34-year-old—who can briefly be seen in the new teaser—definitely had his fair share of fun on set, despite the terrifying premise.
"This is what happens when WINNERS link up" Niecy's shared on Instagram in May alongside of a video of her and Travis on set, confirming his involvement. "@killatrav Welcome to Grostequerie!"
And as Travis said in the video, he was excited about "jumping into new territory."
The Super Bowl champ even got a special dance lesson from the Emmy winner, joking on Instagram in May, "Don't be fooled by the video…. We are working hard for @ryanmurphyproductions In between shots is another story."
And Niecy clearly loved her time on set with Travis as he showed off his dance moves, adding, "@killatrav our crew has got your back!"
Travis responded in the comments, "Im goin to be showing out this year!!"
But before he can have more fun with this new show, Travis is busy prepping for the upcoming NFL season, while girlfriend Taylor Swift wraps the European leg of her Eras Tour.
