Virgin Voyages Changes August 18 Scarlet Lady Itinerary for Maintenance
Virgin Voyages announced a change to the August 18 departure of its Dominican Daze itinerary onboard the Scarlet Lady on August 16.
The itinerary, which was supposed to visit Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, will now be visiting Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos instead. The adults-only cruise line said the last-minute change was due to routine engine maintenance that is “longer than originally anticipated,” as the update said.
Those taking the impacted itinerary will still be able to enjoy a selection of Shore Things curated for Grand Turk. The rest of the itinerary should stay the same.
The Scarlet Lady is Virgin Voyages’ first ship and debuted in the United Kingdom in 2021. Following its debut, the cruise line also launched the Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady. Its fourth ship, Brilliant Lady, debuts later this year.
